Convinced that menopause is not an illness, and that it concerns men too, Élise Thiébaut explores the taboo and myths that accompany it: from the discovery of hormones to testicular transplants, from archaic remedies to laser treatments, via the lives of orcas, witches or the metamorphoses of the tiger extolled by Taoist culture, the author explores with humor the inner workings of this intimate revolution that invites us to “no longer live for the species, but for the spirit”.
The author of several books, Élise Thiébaut is also a member of the association Avocats sans frontières France, for which she campaigned on behalf of the project Défense de lapider in the Amina Lawal case in Nigeria.
