The wine growers of Pinet were the pioneers of the wine making and sale of Picpoul de Pinet. The vineyard of the winery L’Ormarine is unique, set a few steps away from the Mediterranean, topped by this scrubland about which Joseph Delteil said : « It is a hot system of small hills… intense, private, inhabited by pale loose stones… where sometimes a plot of vines shows its green nose… »….
