THÉÂTRE MUSICAL : “UNE OPÉRETTE A RAVENSBRÜCK”

Resisting by writing, singing in the face of Nazi jailers to defend her dignity, this is the way Germaine Tillion found to survive in the Ravensbruck camp in 1944.

A text written from the bottom of a packing crate where she had found refuge.
Like a music hall, it features the Ravensbruck deportees, whom a strange naturalist describes and harangues in turn, before slipping away.
Invoking memories of popular tunes and the joyous dinner parties of yesteryear, these women fight against their inhumane prison conditions with the most formidable of weapons: their joie de vivre!
