This animation presents the world of bats in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

First part of the evening indoors with :
A slide show on bats: their biology, their specific characteristics, the threats they face, existing means of protection and the issues concerning this group of species in the “Aqueduc de Pézenas” Natura 2000 site
A packed lunch while waiting for the sun to set, with drinks and local produce provided by the Communauté d?Agglomération Hérault Méditerranée
Second part on the road near the venue:
An outdoor outing to listen to bats using an ultrasonic detector, and see them evolve in their natural environment.
Places limited to 20 people maximum
Free of charge, but please book in advance with the Pézenas Tourist Information Office on 04.67.98.36.40.
Equipment to bring: one headlamp per person, closed shoes and clothing adapted to weather conditions, picnic and water
It’s a great way to round off the summer and demystify these species, which are in fact invaluable helpers of man, nature and agriculture.
