Street-art performances and painting exhibition – Thursday, May 1, 2025
It’s in the magnificent setting of St Pons de Mauchiens that the Remp’Arts association proposes an event dedicated to art entitled: “Le printemps de Remp’Arts”.
The aim of this project is to showcase urban art in a rural setting, combine it with a painting exhibition and create interaction between artists and local residents.
This year, in the heart of the village, on Place Jeanne d?Arc, 5 urban artists will create frescoes on the doors of “stores” (the old name for winegrowing premises) averaging 6 m² in surface area, and 10 painters will exhibit their work (graphic arts, painting, drawing, engraving, etc.).
The street-art performance and painting exhibition will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 10am to 6pm.
In agreement with Bâtiments de France and the municipality, the street-art works will remain on the doors for a period of 4 months.
Catering will be available at lunchtime and in the evening.
