Audrey Hepburn, the muse of filmmakers and couturiers, dreamed of being a dancer.
Choreographer François Mauduit pays tribute to her in an ambitious ballet in which, on stage, the actress recalls her past through flashbacks to her youth, her love of dance, her career, filming, Hollywood, fashion and her friendship with Hubert de Givenchy.
We discover three Audreys at three different stages of her life.
The 8 tableaux follow one another without a moment's pause, carried by 16 dancers from leading ballet companies. No detail is left to chance. The beautifully crafted costumes underline Audrey Hepburn's timeless elegance, while some of the reconstructed film costumes recall the most emblematic moments of her career, adding an extra touch of magic.
