Haute-Savoie, 1972: the Bertrand farm, a hundred-animal dairy run by three single brothers, is filmed for the first time. In 1997, director Gilles Perret made his first film about them as neighbors, just as they were in the process of handing over the farm to their nephew Patrick and his wife Hélène. 25 years later, the director took up the camera again to accompany Hélène as she, in turn, handed over the reins. The film reveals a deeply moving life story, in which work and handing down the farm are central
