This way for fans of stunning landscapes. Take the signposted hiking route Randonnée les côteaux de Bessilles Hike for six kilometres of pine forests, scrubland and vineyards. Follow signs labelled by the French bird protection league to learn about the fauna that call the site home and enjoy the views of the Thau lagoon and Mont Saint Clair in Sète.

Cycle or on foot, explore the marked paths and trails that crisscross the area leaving from the mountain bike and cycling federation centre. Discover the Cap d’Agde Méditerranée area with vineyards, scrubland and hills. The park is one of the stages of the Larzac Méditerranée Crossing connecting Le Caylar and Agde, and closes the GTMC trail, Grande Traversée du Massif Central that follows the Mediterranean. The departemental cycling centre can advise you about all the cycling options in the area!
The Bessilles Departmental Park also has a fitness course, multisport courts, and a shady bike trail for learning or upskilling on a mountain bike. There’s something for everyone who wants to stay fit while in the area!

Then just take a deckchair, a book and curl up under the Aleppo pines for a good nap! Or head for the outdoor pool in summer to splash around for a refreshing break, then try the Auberge de Bessilles for sophisticated and authentic cuisine made from fresh market products.
On holidays with your family?
Take a break by the shaded picnic area and enjoy the playgrounds, multisports playing ground (city park and fitness) and mini-golf with your own gear. Open from April to October. It’s the perfect place to relax in the fresh air !

Enjoy the thrill of a bird’s-eye view! Become a park explorer! There are many fantastic outdoor activities to discover in the Acrobat Forest, for all levels and ages from 2 to 99! (Admission fee)
Activities include tree climbing with 170 workshops including 40 zip lines, paintball, outdoor laser, archery, an escape game, a forest playground for toddlers, and a free nature and sensory trail for children under 4.
