The SwimRun “NagerCourir” is a practice mixing alternating running and swimming.
The principle: you run in a wetsuit and you swim in sneakers!
You will swim and run for about 17kms, with a guaranteed difference in altitude and emotions!
Beware if the SwimRun of the Archipelago wants to be accessible to all, you must be physically and mentally ready to be a finisher.
More than a race, the route will take you to different worlds.
You will swim and run on various terrains and you will discover unusual landscapes.
The distance is equivalent to an M triathlon: 17 km in total, including 14.5 km of running and 2.5 km of swimming.
For this event, you run with a partner and you must cross the finish line together.
Sweater boy and pads are allowed.
Throughout the course, refreshments are provided.
The Palais des Sports of the city of Agde will be the central point of this competition taking place in the “Archipelago of Life”, and more particularly in Cap d’Agde.
SwimRun de l’Archipel 2022 is organized by the Sports Department of the City of Agde.
It is part of a context of discovery and protection of nature: participants agree to respect the environment.
Qualities such as team spirit and solidarity are necessary, as well as a taste for effort.
The program is established in case of ideal weather. Depending on the weather conditions, the organizers reserve the right to modify the locations, the order of the events and the distances.
The participants will be welcomed from :
> 07:30 am – Collection of race numbers – Breakfast
> 08:45 – Departure by bus (for all participants) from the Palais des Sports to the starting site.
> 09h30 – Start of the race Passerelle du Palais des Congrès. Rond-Point du Carré d’As. Le Cap d’Agde.
> 14h00/14h30 – Prize-giving ceremony
Refreshment and control points will be set up all along the course, and medical assistance will be provided.
The organization provides the chasubles, the caps, as well as the electronic fingers* (the sport-ident management ensures the accuracy of the results). -Any lost electronic finger will be charged to the team at 60?
The candidates must come with their equipment, wetsuit, pads and pull boy. A scratch ranking, a mixed ranking and a female ranking will be established.
