The town of Agde owes its uniqueness to its buildings in basalt, the local volcanic stone that has earned the town the nickname of the Black Pearl of the Mediterranean.
The Galerie du Patrimoine, a new exhibition space dedicated to Agde?s heritage, will give you a first glimpse of the architectural details of the historic center. The tour continues in the company of a guide, who will take you on a journey of discovery, illustrating this heritage ensemble.
