Château Petit Roubié is a beautiful estate of more than 56 hectares located near the Etang de Thau. Floriane and Olivier Azan make their wines on clay-limestone soils composed of mixed pebbles and quartz from the Tertiary era. The Domaine has installed some nesting boxes to help nocturnal animals and allow them to develop outside the cellars where they have found an ideal natural habitat in the beams.
Beehives have been placed by a local beekeeper on some of the vineyard plots with the aim of preserving biodiversity and protecting species and thus provoking the pollination of numerous floral species which are essential to the proper functioning of the vineyard.
