VISITE GUIDÉE DE CAZOULS-D’HÉRAULT

CAZOULS-D’HERAULT

Programme

Around 1150, a Templar commandery was founded in Cazouls. Later on, it passed into the hands of the Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem. The 19th century was marked by the appearance of large wine estates and the gradual construction of a dyke to protect the village from the floods of the Hérault. Today, it has become a place for walking, allowing you to discover the plain of the Hérault in an unusual way, which you will follow, in part, on the arm of the guide-lecturer.
