LE CAP D’AGDE : LE MUSÉE DE L’ÉPHÈBE ET LE SITE D’EMBONNE

CAP-D’AGDE
  • Home Disabled People

Programme

The Embonne site and the Musée d?archéologique sous-marine de l?Ephèbe
The first historical occupation of Cap d?Agde, Embonne is a site that evolved from a “villae” to a “settlement” until it disappeared during the High Middle Ages. Archeological digs have enabled us to retrace this epic story, which guide Arnaud will tell you about. The Musée de l?Éphèbe will illustrate the site?s activities, particularly from the point of view of trade and the transport of goods, through discoveries made on shipwrecks from Antiquity to the present day.
