Programme

In Gallo-Roman times, a small town called Cessero was built at the foot of the hill. The ancient town was crossed from west to east by the Via Domitia. The abbey was probably founded at the end of the 8th century. Many pilgrims flocked during the medieval period to the tomb of Saint Thibéry who cured mental illnesses.
In the company of a guide-lecturer, follow Attilio’s footsteps, discovering the Benedictine abbey and the village that developed around it.
