Located in the heart of Agde’s historic centre, in the former chapel of the Convent of the Sisters of Sainte-Marie, dating from the 17th century, the Espace Molière—now dedicated to the visual arts—has successively served as a chapel, a cinema (the Vox), and then an exhibition space following its renovation by the town council.
With a surface area of 250 m², this venue is distinguished by its black basalt stone walls, typical of the volcanic Agde region. Its intimate setting and historic character make it an exceptional exhibition space.

Each year, the Espace Molière hosts five exhibitions reserved for professional artists, offering the public a demanding and varied programme: painting, sculpture, photography and installations. A place where art is expressed in a setting that is both authentic and inspiring.
