Jacques Belin, a self-important TV host, finds himself alone in a bar after an important dinner is canceled.
In search of company, he meets Simone, an outspoken, troubled woman recently released from prison. With the help of alcohol, they spend an eventful night, oscillating between arguments, laughter and moments of tenderness.
As the evening progresses, the masks come off and a touching and hilarious human encounter takes place.
