AGDE

Programme

In Tiffany Vailier’s work, there is a vital impetus that goes beyond figuration
The apparent lightness of the visual narrative in fact studies the structuring forces that
characterise each person and the links that unite or isolate them; tracking down a
form of circulation between beings and their environment or wider sense.
A multi-disciplinary artist and head researcher, her creations unfold without constraint
of genres, temporality or mediums – from paper, to acrylic glass, right up to the present
bioplastic – by striving to make her subject coincide with the means of its representation.
As a result, she has developed a body of work that brings together drawing, painting, sculpture,
etching, collage and immersive installation, including experiments in chemistry, anthropological or naturalistic studies, and fantastical creations.
