LE FÛT DE SCÈNE – JACQUES À DIT

VIAS-PLAGE

Programme

Sylvie Janin is a novelist who can no longer write. Ready to cross over to the “other side”, she changes her mind. Maybe she’ll find someone who, by observing her, will give her back her inspiration. She hires Bruno, a gardener who suffers from his wife’s infidelities. But he soon understands the novelist?s perversity. Which of these two beings will end up devouring the other? As a fan of Didier Van Cauwelaert when I discovered this comedy, the urgency of staging this play was obvious. I needed “two wildcats” to serve up this text, which speaks of love and the passage of time with a delicious, jubilant and jouissif language. Lucie and Olivier gladly accepted! We love this play as a hymn to life, as a ferocious comedy, as “loving what we are”.
