Breathtaking!

Breathtaking!

Enjoy a unique panorama from the cliffs.

With its cliffs and its black sand, the cove of La Grande Conque makes for a stunning walk.

The Cap d’Agde cliffs are unique in the area: they have been formed by a succession of underwater volcanic eruptions which occurred approximately 750 000 years ago.
The lava flows, hollowed by the sea have given rise to one of the most beautiful basaltic beaches in the Mediterranean.
This unspoilt site is particularly recommended for getting some fresh air and enjoying the tonic effects of the sea. From the top of the cliffs you can see the Rocher des deux frères, Fort Brescou and the Richelieu jetty. Admire the deep blue of the sea, with Sète in the distance, and imagine you are on a yacht leaving the port of Cap d’Agde.
